Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Piedmont Park Dog Park - this is Atlanta's most popular dog park, and it is an off-leash canine haven with nearly 3 acres where dogs can frolic until they're tired. It has minimal shade, separate enclosures for large and small dogs, new trails and landscaping, and benches and restrooms. |

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Parkgrounds - here there is a dog park and a restaurant where you can enjoy a sandwiches or a latte at the coffeeshop or work on free Wifi, while your pup has a blast running around. They also serve beer, wine, and liquor. Note that is can get pretty dusty as the dog park is dirt!

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: South Bend Dog Park - this park is a little doggy oasis in Lakewood Heights, across from Aaron's Amphitheater, with plenty of shade trees, climbing rocks, and room to play; there is a lovely view from this hilltop location, a tree swing, and separate areas for large and small dogs.

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Brook Run Dog Park - this is a well-maintained, volunteer-run Dunwoody dog park, with nearly 2-3 acres of running and play space. The dog park is wooded, and there are walking trails for humans to enjoy, a separate area for large and small dogs, but there are no bathrooms.

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Oakhurst Dog Park - this is a clean, spacious dog park with drinking water for dogs, nice wooded trails, dog waste bags, a hose at the entry, lots of shadded areas and a large open area, friendly people, and benches. Note that it gets muddy after rain and there are NOT separate large and small dog areas, you can park in the church lot across the street (NOT on Sundays).

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Grant Park - this is a very social dog park in a new, revitalized historical area, the dog park is unofficial, next to the baseball/soccer/all purpose sports field thata is down the hill from the basketball courts. Note the park is NOT fenced in.

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Freedom Barkway - this new park is located just behind the vintage shop "Desperate Houseware," and you enter the park off Highland Ave, and the park runs along the greensapce next to Freedom Parkway. There are fantastic views of downtown from the park, and it is divided into large and small dog areas, with water, lots of grass, shade, benches, and lots of space.

Dog Park in Atlanta, Georgia: Renaissance Park Dog Park - this is a 5.5 acre dog park in the Old Fourth Ward with shade and separate areas for both large and small dogs. The park is recognized as a good alternative to Piedmont Park.
